ESADE Alumni Careers is pleased to invite you to a flash session intended to enable members of retirement age to share their experience and take a look at different paths. Leading the session will be Dr Bartolomé Freire, author of the book La Jubilación, una nueva oportunidad.
After a presentation about the challenges and opportunities posed by retirement as a stage of life, participants will be able to share their experience of retirement, the obstacles they encountered or now encounter in adapting to it, the steps they took or are taking, and the outcome.
Following the discussion and conclusions, we will enjoy a networking breakfast.
Bartolomé Freire
Dr Bartolomé Freire Arteta is a retired psychiatrist and psychotherapist trained in Madrid, Mexico and the USA. He worked in public institutions and a private practice. This expert in psychoanalytic psychotherapy has given talks on this subject in congresses, published articles in specialised journals and taken part in many conferences, seminars and doctoral courses. For two years he had a retirement consultancy in the magazine “Vivir con Júbilo and on the Radiosol XXI radio station. At present he continues to work in teaching and as the supervisor of psychotherapeutic treatments.
