The ESADE Alumni Galicia Club invites you to a dinner talk with Norberto Penedo, Director of Competitiveness Division, IGAPE. Also present will be Iñaki Ocaña (Lic&MBA 06 / DARH 12), director of the international division of ESADE Alumni.
The speaker will give the conference entitled ''Strategic approaches and challenges facing Galicia in the shift towards Industry 4.0''.
This session will take stock of the main activities and measures and examine the monitoring of the macroeconomic indicators specifically created to determine the impact of the strategy on the economy of Galicia. The framework, vision, industrial and strategic viewpoints, booster plans and strategic approaches are some of the considerations to be discussed.
An interesting evening great for networking and catching up with old ESADE classmates and new alumni in the area.

Norberto Penedo
Aeronautical engineer (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, 1988) and quality engineer (American Society for Quality Control, 1995). He first worked at Instituto Nacional de Técnica Aeroespacial as a specialist in avionic systems until the late 1990s, holding a variety of posts including international head of embedded communication certification on the European fighter aircraft project.
He joined IGAPE in the late 1990s as head of the Technological Innovation Unit, until his appointment as deputy director of project management in early 2002. Since 2011, he has been the director of the Competitiveness Division whose mission is to implement new ways of boosting the competitive edge of business in Galicia. In this capacity he manages the competences attributed to IGAPE in different areas, including Entrepreneurship, Industry 4.0 Policy and Cluster Policy in addition to developing programmes and services to foster the competitive edge of SMEs in Galicia.
