ESADE Networking at Dubai International Art Centre

English

The ESADE Alumni Dubai Chapter cordially invites you to join as member of ESADE alumni a wonderful evening of art with drinks and snacks. This is a fantastic chance to network in a true relaxed and different setting while welcoming our new graduates. The evening will offer also the opportunity to enjoy ‘’Feeling the desert’’ exhibition by the international artist Mercedes Roglá, focused on her latest work and her personal interpretation of Dubai and the atmosphere of the United Arab Emirates.

Roglá obtained a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona. With a grant from the internationally renowned Instituto Cervantes, went on to work in Paris. She has exhibited her work regularly in the art galleries Artevistas and Gabriel Vanrell in Spain, as well as the public art institutions la Mairie de Paris and the Picasso Museum of Barcelona. Her paintings are shown in many private and public collections like Würth España, the University of Barcelona, the Foundation Caixa Sabadell and the Guanlan Printmaking Museum in China.

The event will be held at the international art centre established in 1976 which hosts a variety of art events from exhibitions to workshops. Gallery 76 is located in the centre, is the oldest public art gallery in the UAE and occupies a special space in the history of Dubai thriving art scene. Surrounded by a nice garden and Burj Khalifa views it is an oasis in the middle of Dubai.

Spouses and Partners of alumni are welcome to join the event. This is a perfect occasion for all alumni, including those who normally travel during weekdays, to meet everyone in our network!

If you would like to attend, you need to register.
