The ESADE Alumni Senior Club is organising a visit to the exhibition ‘OPERA. Passion, power and politics’.
CaixaForum Barcelona presents an exciting, immersive experience: an insight into opera as the soundtrack of the history of Europe.
Eight cities. Eight composers. Eight great premieres. A journey from Claudio Monteverdi’s Venice to Dmitri Shostakóvich’s Leningrad passing through London with Georg Friedrich Händel, Viena with Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Milan with Giuseppe Verdi, Paris with Richard Wagner, Barcelona with Isaac Albéniz, and Dresden with Richard Strauss.
An immersive experience for individual visitors. Prior to the visit, a CaixaForum guide will give a 15-minute introductory talk about the exhibition. Then, at the entrance, visitors will be given headphones that come on automatically as they walk around the exhibition.
