The Esade Alumni Senior Club is holding a guided tour of ‘The Camera and the City. Urban Life in photography and films’. This exhibition at the CaixaForum examines the relationship between public space and the art of photography from its origins to the present day. The event features more than 260 exhibits including photographs, films, videos and printed items from the Centre Pompidou (home to one of the biggest collections of photos in Europe), plus an impressive number of works by Spanish exhibitors selected from Spain’s foremost photography collections. The exhibition will feature items by such famous names as Paul Strand, Valérie Jouve, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Diane Arbus, Alexander Rodtchenko, William Klein, Brassaï, Joan Colom, Manel Armengol, Pilar Aymerich, Luis Buñuel, Francesc Català Roca and Carlos Pérez de Rozas.
