The ESADE Alumni Tokyo Chapter is pleased to invite you to their next event, Marketing Intelligence: its role in the firm and contribution to Innovation, a talk by Alessandro Comai (Ph.D. in Manag. Sciences 2016) and associate marketing professor at the Graduate School of Management, International University of Japan (IUJ).

More and more companies require formalized, advanced marketing intelligence (MI) functions to provide strategic and marketing decision-making processes with updated insights. It has been demonstrated that highly innovative organizations have strong MI functions. Thus, firms need to pay careful attention to external environments by collecting and analyzing information and data which allows them to see the future.

Alessandro Comai
Alessandro Comai is a associate marketing professor at the Graduate School of Management, International University of Japan (IUJ). Prior to joining IUJ, he was an associate professor at the University of Pompeu Fabra, (Barcelona, Spain) and a visiting professor at Tampere University of Technology (Tampere, Finland) were he researched and taught business, marketing and technology intelligence. He is currently researching marketing intelligence, open innovation and data-text analytics. Alessandro has a PhD in management science (ESADE), and an MBA and a BSc (Honours) in Engineering.
