Here at ESADE Alumni we would like to invite you to a conference by Luis Pérez-Breva, director of the MIT Innovation Team, about ''Innovation and investment in artificial intelligence. Logbook for the innovators of today and tomorrow in unchartered territories'' during the presentation of his book, Innovar: un manifiesto de acción. We will also be joined by Dr Luis Vives, deputy dean of the ESADE MBA.

Despite what innovators often think, innovation and the entrepreneurial spirit are not the same. Luis Perez-Breva believes that in order to start to innovate, what is needed is not a ground-breaking idea but a hunch or a feeling. You also need, of course, a real-life problem to be solved and the determination to solve it. This is something anyone can do.

We will have the pleasure of counting on the presence and intervention of Dr. Luis Vives, deputy dean of the ESADE MBA together with the patron of Fundación Rafael del Pino, Ana Cebrian del Pino.

 

Luis Perez-Breva

Luis Perez-Breva founded and manages MIT Innovation Teams, the flagship programme of the MIT business and engineering schools designed to ensure that technological developments have an impact on society and solve the world’s problems. These teams have already dealt with some two hundred new technologies from all spheres. He has taught students and executives in all fields that being innovative is a skill that can be acquired.

Luis has post-grad qualifications in engineering, chemistry, management, physical sciences and a PhD in artificial intelligence from the MIT. He is an entrepreneur and innovator, and also an expert in technology innovation, venture labs, and the application and commercialisation of AI to solve real-life problems.
