The ESADE Alumni Frankfurt Chapter is holding a City Tour of some of the main highlights of the city followed by a wine tasting on Saturday, 25 May at 5pm in Mainz.
This city tour will be led by Herwig Kohrs (MBA 95), currently working at Opel Automobile GmbH as IT project manager in the European after-sales department. For many years, in parallel with this job, Herwig has given groups of friends and other people city tours of Wiesbaden and Mainz, pointing out the main historical developments and architecture of these cities and Germany in general. This tour will include the town hall, cathedral, city wall, Roman theatre and the river Rhine, and such varied styles of architecture as Gothic, Baroque, Romanesque and modern.
José Masot (ESADE MBA 1997) has been working in the wine industry for 20 years. He is the Export Director of Deutsches Weintor, one of Germany's largest wine cooperatives.
The wine tasting will be led by José Masot (MBA 97) at the EO Restaurant (Rheinallee 26, 55118 Mainz). His presentation will be about the German wine industry and the importance of Mainz and Rhineland-Palatinate, followed by the wine tasting including some tapas.
