The development and integration of an ethical framework in companies has brought about changes that are highly relevant for business management. Are these changes just a fad, or will they have a sustained impact over time? Have they brought about a new business management model? And what about a new business model? In this session, we will explore 10 fundamental contributions of ethics to the world of business and organisations and discuss the keys to understanding the new business model. Roberto Ballester Roberto Ballester is a founding member of Felidarity and a professor of ethics, social responsibility, non-profit management and social entrepreneurship at various universities and business schools. He serves as a mentor to entrepreneurial and social-innovation projects. He is also an Ethical Advisor to the European Commission's Horizons 2020 research projects. He is the President of Fairtrade Ibérica, the international fair trade label, and a member of the Fairtrade International Board’s Nominations Committee. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy from the University of Valencia. He has participated in various courses on business and organisational management, including the Programme for Management Development (PMD) at Esade, the postgraduate diploma in International Human Resource Management at South Bank University (London), Management in Non-Governmental Organisations at Esade and University Expert in CSR at the National University of Distance Education (UNED).
