ESADE Alumni is pleased to invite you to the conference, ''Rebuilding business, rebuilding Catalonia''.

The political scenario and outlook after the elections on December 21st 2017 will create an uncertain environment for companies and the Catalan economy.
The “Rebuilding business, rebuilding Catalonia” project sounds out what managers and business professionals think about the impact of the political situation on business in Catalonia, and their expectations for 2018.

This event will feature the presentation of the results of a macro-survey (September-November 2017) of a representative sample of managers and professionals in different economic and business sectors in Catalonia.

The “Rebuilding business, rebuilding Catalonia” report includes the evolution of sales and possible customer and distributor boycotts, investment decisions, recruitment, relocation of head offices and/or tax domiciles, etc, in September-November 2017. The report also includes what managers and professionals expect after December 21st as regards these business decisions, and also legal certainty, fiscal framework, creation of companies, new lines of business, the evolution of the Barcelona brand and the hosting of international fairs and conferences. Finally, the report includes proposals that the directors and business professionals would like to convey to society, the Government of the Generalitat de Catalunya in office after December 21st and the Government of Spain.
