Programa de continuidad | Spanish

November 20 OF 2017 from 07:00 PM to 08:30 PM

ESADE Alumni invites you to another interesting talk in the Refresher Programme series entitled ''Corporate entrepreneurship. Bring on the rebels!'', by Joan Riera (Lic & MBA 99)
academic assistant in ESADE’s department of general management and strategy.

Corporate enterprise can make your company more agile, flexible and innovative, regardless of its size, age or industry. This talk during the presentation of the book IMPULSO, Las 5 palancas para activar el intraemprendimiento is an opportunity to learn how to implement corporate entrepreneurship in a systematic, measurable and sustainable way. By combining the strengths and resources of a consolidated company with the drive of the most dynamic entrepreneurs it is possible to pinpoint opportunities, and organize resources and talent, and make the very most of them all.

The traditional, performance-oriented companies managing to survive in mature industries face an uncertain future: none of today’s industries are safe from disruption. Technology is eroding the entry barriers that used to protect their businesses; size and volume are no longer enough. In addition, the business world is changing at an increasingly fast pace that spans months instead of years. Companies must learn to validate hypotheses faster and cater more flexibly for what customer really want and, above all, for all their as yet unknown desires. Companies must shift from inspiration to impact with ever shorter leadtimes. The most effective solution is to apply tactics typical of entrepreneurs, so the implementation of corporate entrepreneurship policies is now a must.
