ESADE Alumni is hosting 'Network analysis and machine learning in fraud detection', a refresher programme talk by Pedro Clavería, co-director of the Big Data Analytics for Executives programme, and you are cordially invited.

This talk will examine the application of data science and advanced analytics to tax fraud detection in the public sector, and also in banking, insurance, utilities and healthcare.

Also taking part in this conference will be the expert data scientist Eloy Vicente Cestero, PhD in Artificial Intelligence.

Pedro Clavería
Industrial engineer (ETSII, Madrid, 1992) and PDD (IESE, 2011)

Fervent believer in the use of IT, data and digital change to enhance companies, people and decisions based on corporate data.

In the course of his career, he has worked on technology projects in the IT industry (Capgemini, Tecnocom, T-systems, Serikat, Sngular) with different responsibilities ranging from consultancy, solutions and applications, to architecture and projects. Now head of sales of solutions in big data and analytics, digital transformation, IoT and Smart Cities for customers in the telecom, finance, public sector and manufacturing industries (Inditex, Mapfre, AENA, Carrefour, Correos, Telefónica,  Danone, Banco Popular,  Banco de España, BBVA, INE, DGT, Metro de Madrid, Puertos de Barcelona, Iberdrola, Generalitat de Cataluña, Ferrovial, Coca-Cola, IZFE and Gestamp).

Has been in charge of creating international big data and BI centres of excellence for Capgemini, Tecnocom and T-Systems.

Currently co-founder of DataDreams where his mission is to disseminate knowledge in the fields of big data and analytics and work in conjunction with companies and organisations on the strategic use of data and their successful application in projects designed to transform them into data-driven organisations.
