Esade Alumni and H/Advisors Launch a Series of Strategic Dialogues on the Challenges Facing Spain

Both institutions are launching a series of meetings involving the public sector, business, and academia within the framework of the Esade Alumni Public Management Club and the H/ORIZONTES initiative.

Esade Alumni has reached an agreement with H/Advisors—the leading public affairs firm in Spain and the Spanish affiliate of the global H/Advisors network—to launch a series of strategic dialogues aimed at addressing some of Spain’s main economic, political, and social challenges. This initiative takes place in a context marked by uncertainty, rapid technological change, and the need to strengthen the quality of public policies.

The collaboration will take the form of a series of regular meetings throughout 2026, held under the umbrella of the Esade Alumni Public Management Club, a benchmark forum that brings together public and private sector professionals committed to improving governance, public leadership, and the positive impact of institutions. These sessions will gather public officials, business executives, and academic experts with the goal of creating a rigorous, plural, and constructive space for exchange—one that enables participants to compare diagnoses, anticipate trends, and contribute to a better understanding of the challenges facing the country.

At a time of profound transformation and increasing complexity, both institutions underline the importance of fostering high-quality, thoughtful dialogue spaces that promote mutual understanding among the different actors involved in public decision-making. Listening to public sector leaders, academics, and senior business executives with extensive experience managing complex organizations is essential to encouraging constructive exchange between the public and private sectors and to contributing to the design of more effective, innovative public policies aligned with the common good.

The H/ORIZONTES initiative

This dialogue series is part of H/ORIZONTES, an initiative led by H/Advisors focused on anticipating the country’s major challenges and improving decision-making through a combination of analysis and strategic dialogue. Under the approach “Think what lies ahead. Act today,” the initiative aims not only to identify trends but also to facilitate conversations that help translate that knowledge into action.

The agreement with Esade Alumni represents one of the first developments of H/ORIZONTES, which is expected to incorporate new milestones and workstreams in the coming months.
